It’s Monday morning and you wake up to hear that the Washington politicians are back from a week-long hiatus. The bureaucrats are on Capitol Hill fighting over budget cuts, creating jobs, and stimulating the economy. You however are waiting for Apple’s big announcement that is coming on Tuesday. Could it be the rumored Sprint relationship with iPhone 5 and iPad?  Then out of nowhere you hear rumors from Amazon that could quite possibly steal Apple’s shine!

This is exciting Monday news to those of us still on the fence with buying into the iPad phenomena.  Amazon’s new Kindle Fire may be the first tablet that may take the shine from the iPad brand.  Though it’s a little smaller and backed by the Android system , the price is $79 to $199!!!!  This is going to be a great deal breaker, especially for those consumers who are more frugal but still want a great gadget. 

I currently have the 1st generation Nook and I am debating on purchasing the iPad 2. The Kindle Fire might be a great alternative for those of us on a budget.
